A new partner joins the ECTerra core team.
We are proud to announce that we were able to win a new team member. Mohamed Hamza (Hamza) is a Management Accountant and has extensive experience of managing accounting and financial tasks in the mining industry. He has worked in active mining operations in Africa and Asia. Hamza will add great value to our team and we are happy to welcome him.
Hamza is based in Australia/Melbourne. More details on Hamza can be found under "about us".

Chris completed Module I of the "Environmental Protection Officer" course at the TUEV NORD in Germany.
Subjects of the training session:
- European legislations & Environmental Law
- By-laws on emission, harzardous incidents & accidents, waste, water and harzadous materials
- Industrial safety
- Risk Assessment
The Training will be completed end of June with Module II.
ECTerra is proud to expand its service on environmental aspects of the exploration & mining industry. Our aim is to support clients in all questions related to safe work & workplaces for their employees, environmental protection and risk assessment.
We will be able to consult companies regarding the permitting of processing & chemical plants, mining and camp areas as well as all other aspects of permitting processes during exploration and mining.

ECTerra enters into a closer relationship with Micromine Consulting Services.
This new cooperation enables ECT to cover a wider range of services such as resource estimates according to NI4-101 and/or JORC as well as other int. codes for almost any commodity. Veryfication of data and statistical analysis. ECT can now carry out all tasks of a bankable feasybility study in-house from start to end without - project from one hand!

We are supporting a German mining company to prepare the tender documents for a mine-closure project in Central France. Description: In a mountain area of France an historic fluoride mine must be closed according to the specification of the French geology administration. The main project is to block a cross-cut by a 10 m thick concrete barrier. The main technical problem lays in the transportation of the concrete due to lack of direct access to the mine. |
